Little Owl
Athene noctua
I was waiting for this little owl to show up for an hour before I noticed he was perched on this tree, fast asleep, amongst the dense foliage. They're so small and difficult to spot even when they're out in the open, especially if they're not moving.
Eventually he opened its eyes to take a look at me, and I had my shutter speed really high hoping I'd get a photo of him taking off. But he went back to sleep, completely unbothered by my presence.
